Senior Sales Advisor – Residential Energy Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Advisor to guide homeowners through the transition to clean, intelligent home energy. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand dcbel’s offering, confirming eligibility, and converting interest into sales.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers via phone, chat, email, video and other digital channels to guide purchasing decisions and support online sales growth.
• Validate leads, confirm home eligibility for the Ara system, and manage the sales process from qualified lead to closed deal.
• Provide product, pricing, program, installation and compatibility information, and guide customers through deposit, payment and installation steps.
• Maintain a “white‑glove” pre‑sales experience, set clear expectations for installation timelines, and act as the bridge between customers and internal teams.
• Mentor junior sales advisors and contribute to sales process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4‑7 years of experience in customer sales or retail advisory roles with a proven ability to convert leads.
• Experience in consumer technology or premium home services such as solar, HVAC or EV charging.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and demonstrates strong collaboration skills.
• Comfortable explaining new concepts in simple terms and working with flexible schedules across North American time zones.
