Senior Sales Account Manager – Canada

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to lead end‑to‑end customer development and project‑based sales for wind and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects across Canada. You will be responsible for achieving annual signing, collection, and key‑customer coverage targets while shaping our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle for wind/BESS projects, from prospecting to contract signing and handover.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs, consultants and other ecosystem partners to drive project shortlisting, tendering and award.
• Lead bid preparation and commercial negotiations, coordinating technical, grid‑connection, delivery and legal teams to produce executable bid packages.
• Ensure clear contract scope, manageable risks and a delivery plan, guiding key milestones from signing through to project execution.
• Monitor market and policy trends such as provincial auctions, capacity markets and storage incentives, creating opportunity maps and competitive strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in power, energy, engineering or business.
• 6‑10+ years of B2B project sales experience in the North American new‑energy sector (wind, storage, electrical equipment, energy development) with a proven record of wins.
• Deep understanding of project‑based sales processes and key bid/contract terms (performance guarantees, schedules, liquidated damages, grid‑connection responsibilities).
• Strong customer‑management and negotiation abilities to influence complex decision chains.
• Fluent in English and French, with excellent cross‑cultural communication skills and willingness to travel.
