Senior Project Manager – IoT Solutions

About the role

The Senior Project Manager leads and executes complex IoT projects across Ontario for Blackstone Energy Services. The role manages planning, scheduling, budgeting, design coordination, vendor equipment, licensing, installation and subcontracting while ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project forecasting, reporting and invoicing to maintain profitability and positive cash flow.
• Lead large‑scale IoT projects from site audits through design, construction, commissioning and close‑out.
• Mentor and support team members, reporting on their technical and leadership development.
• Partner with the Project Management Office to apply consistent delivery, governance and toolsets.
• Ensure construction compliance with relevant codes, standards and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma in Industrial Automation/Mechatronics/SCADA/BAS/Instrumentation or a degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience delivering BAS, IoT, industrial automation or master systems integration projects, including new construction and retrofits.
• Experience in healthcare, government, municipal or higher‑education environments is highly valued.

• Deployment of IoT solutions and Master Systems Integration (MSI).
• Building Automation Systems (BAS) implementation.
• Structured project management methodologies.
• OT networking, cybersecurity, SCADA systems and BAS protocols.
• REST API, BACnet IP, Modbus MSTP/IP.
• Niagara N4 (Tridium) technical expertise.
