Senior Project Manager – Hybrid (Kingston/York Mills)

About the role

Empire life is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its Project Management Office. This hybrid position (Kingston/York Mills) will lead the full project lifecycle for business transformation and IT initiatives, working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with IT and other business units to secure resources and assign tasks.
• Provide direction, coaching, and support to project team members.
• Track project expenses, monitor timelines, and report progress regularly.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Manage changes to scope, budget, or schedule following change‑control procedures.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience leading large, complex business transformation or IT projects.
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
