Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale building and infrastructure projects across Nova Scotia, PEI and New Brunswick. The role is based in Halifax and involves close collaboration with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects ranging from $1.5 M to over $100 M.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
• Drive construction schedules, ensuring milestones and completion dates are met.
• Identify innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental programs.
• Select and coordinate trade partners, managing their activities on site.
• Plan, monitor and control project budgets, costs and purchasing.
• Mentor project team members and share best practices.
• Communicate project status, risks and updates to all stakeholders.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and lead the wrap‑up process.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of project management experience in the ICI construction industry.
• University degree or technology diploma in engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of leading projects to successful completion.
• Strong leadership, organizational and influencing abilities.
• Deep knowledge of construction methodologies, financial management and relevant building codes.
• Commitment to health, safety and quality excellence.
