Senior Project Manager – Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale building and infrastructure projects across Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick. You will work closely with client groups, subcontractors and internal teams to deliver projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $100 million.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
• Develop, drive and monitor construction schedules to meet milestones and completion dates.
• Identify innovative solutions to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Program and health, safety and environmental standards.
• Select and coordinate trade partners, managing their activities on site.
• Plan, manage and control project budgets, costs and purchasing.
• Mentor project team members and share knowledge.
• Communicate project status and updates regularly.
• Manage project risks and minimise exposure.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports and lead the project wrap‑up process.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• University degree or technology diploma in engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of leading successful, large‑scale projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational and influencing abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of construction methodologies, financial management, building codes and related legislation.
• Role‑model for health, safety and quality standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scheduling software.
• Solid computer skills.
