Senior Production Planner – Grid Technology

About the role

The Senior Production Planner will coordinate and optimise production planning processes within Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology division. Working closely with sales, procurement, logistics and production teams, you will develop robust short‑, medium‑ and long‑term plans to ensure timely, cost‑effective manufacturing and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent shortages.
• Analyse production capacity and adjust plans to meet delivery deadlines.
• Lead the implementation of S&OP and other planning best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve planning issues.
• Prepare reports and metrics to track planning performance.

Required profile

• University degree in logistics, supply chain management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience as a master planner in production planning or supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluency in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with planning software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Data analysis and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
