Senior Production Manager - International Originals

About the Role

Join the world-class team at Amazon MGM Studios (Prime Video) as a Production Manager for our International Originals division in Canada. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global entertainment by supporting the Canadian executive team in delivering high-quality scripted, unscripted, and film projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production budgets, schedules, and comprehensive production plans for a diverse slate of content.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including Post-Production, Business Affairs, Creative Development, Finance, VFX, Music, and Casting.
• Manage financial workflows: develop budgets, perform risk analysis, track costs, and ensure strict compliance with studio policies.
• Lead inter-departmental meetings and manage the end-to-end delivery of production milestones.
• Drive talent acquisition by recruiting Executive Producers and Heads of Department.
• Navigate the Canadian production landscape to optimize local resources and manage re-shoots or additional photography requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in production management within a major studio or high-end production environment.
• Deep, comprehensive knowledge of the Canadian production landscape and industry regulations.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple departments.
