Senior Product Manager, Enterprise & Deployments
Fivetran · Toronto
Job description
About the role
Every enterprise adoption of dbt starts with questions about authentication, authorization, and deployment compliance. As the Senior Product Manager for Enterprise & Deployments you own the trust and access layer of the dbt platform, shaping how users log in, what they can do, and where the service runs.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the roadmap for identity, access, and deployment across the dbt platform, from auth primitives to admin surfaces.
- Lead the migration from single‑tenant to multi‑tenant architecture, handling domain changes and seamless customer transition.
- Determine new geographic and cloud deployment strategies, ensuring data residency and regional isolation requirements.
- Own the front‑door experience—login, sign‑up, and account discovery—to improve conversion and reduce support volume.
- Partner with security, compliance, infrastructure, and field teams to turn review blockers into product features.
Required profile
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on identity, access management, security, or infrastructure.
- Hands‑on experience delivering SSO, SCIM, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC, and integration with identity providers.
- Background in multi‑tenant SaaS deployment models, regional expansion, and migration pathways.
- Strong technical foundation to collaborate as a peer with engineering and influence architecture decisions.
- Excellent written communication to articulate security decisions to both technical and sales audiences.
Required skills
- SSO, SCIM, OAuth, OIDC, RBAC
- Identity provider integrations (e.g., Okta, Auth0)
- Multi‑tenant SaaS architecture, tenancy isolation, regional deployment
- Telemetry and observability for platform services
- Familiarity with dbt and modern data warehouse ecosystems (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift)
What we offer
- Competitive salary range $188,496–$235,620 CAD per year.
- Employer‑paid medical insurance, RSU stock grants, and professional development opportunities.
- Generous paid time off, parental leave, and volunteer days.
- Monthly cell‑phone stipend and access to a mental‑health support platform.
- Virtual happy hours, free food, and team‑building activities.
