Senior Operations Manager

About the role
Mercor is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to support a leading AI research lab. This short‑term contract role is fully remote and focuses on delivering high‑impact operational outputs that enable cutting‑edge machine‑learning research.
Key responsibilities
- Create deliverables that address common requests within your professional domain.
- Review and improve peer‑developed deliverables to enhance AI research outcomes.
- Work independently and asynchronously, meeting tight deadlines.
- Support the AI lab’s research and infrastructure initiatives for next‑generation ML systems.
- Diagnose and solve real‑world issues in your domain to contribute to advanced AI projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a relevant operations or administrative field.
- Excellent written communication with strong grammar and spelling.
- Immediate availability to start.

What we offer
- Competitive hourly rate of $90–$110.
- 30–40 hours per week for a 3–4 week engagement.
