Senior MEP Coordinator

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior MEP Coordinator to lead on‑site mechanical, fire protection and electrical construction activities across its large infrastructure projects in British Columbia. Reporting to the MEP Manager, you will combine project management expertise with hands‑on supervision to ensure safe, on‑time and on‑budget delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor MEP budgets, schedules and change orders in collaboration with the Station Construction team.
• Coordinate RFIs, field change requests, shop drawing approvals and method statements with the design team.
• Monitor costs, produce monthly reports and drive productivity improvements.
• Lead pull‑planning sessions for fire protection, mechanical and electrical works.
• Supervise subcontractor activities on site, ensuring safety and compliance with project standards.
• Integrate MEP work with civil and architectural scopes to avoid clashes.
• Work with Quality and Commissioning teams on post‑installation testing, inspections and punch‑list resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior MEP coordination on large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules and subcontractor performance.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with design, construction and commissioning teams.
