Senior Manager – US Tax

About the role

Crowe MacKay LLP is seeking a Senior Manager to lead US personal tax engagements from its Langley office. The role involves managing client relationships, delivering high‑quality tax returns, and mentoring staff in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and review US personal tax engagements independently, including Forms 8621, 3520, 8833, 2555 and other applicable returns.
• Deliver complete tax products to senior managers or partners on a timely basis.
• Respond to client inquiries and provide guidance on tax matters.
• Delegate tasks and provide training to staff at all levels.
• Maintain and grow client relationships, win new work, and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Mentor and coach senior and staff accountants.
• Conduct tax research and document filing positions with risk analysis.

Required profile

• CPA designation (Canada or US) with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience preparing Canadian personal tax returns and related forms (e.g., T2062, NR4, section 216).
• Strong project and time‑management abilities with a focus on detail.
• Self‑starter who can work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
