Senior Manager, Health & Wellness (Disability Management)

About the role

Irving Oil is seeking a strategic, business‑focused Senior Manager, Health & Wellness to lead the North American Health Services strategy. The role will design and operate a best‑in‑class disability management program that supports employees while driving business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead disability, accommodation, return‑to‑work and Workers’ Compensation programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Use data and analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes, manage risk and develop KPIs and reporting.
• Partner with senior leaders to embed evidence‑based health, wellness, drug & alcohol and health promotion initiatives.
• Build and scale a high‑performing team, fostering capability and change management.
• Develop policies, governance frameworks and processes that align employee wellbeing with operational and financial goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience developing or significantly enhancing disability management programs in a large, complex organization.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to influence senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable challenging conventional thinking and delivering scalable solutions.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of disability management, accommodation, return‑to‑work and workers’ compensation practices.
• Ability to leverage data and analytics for strategic decision‑making.
• Experience creating policies, governance structures and performance metrics.
