Senior Manager – Assurance

About the Position

Join a leading professional services firm in Edmonton as a Senior Manager within our Assurance team. In this strategic leadership role, you will act as a trusted advisor to a diverse portfolio of private and non-profit clients across Alberta, driving excellence in audit quality and business growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of assurance engagements in compliance with ASPE and/or ASNPO standards.
• Manage a diverse client portfolio, providing high-level advisory services and resolving complex accounting issues (revenue recognition, business combinations, consolidations, etc.).
• Drive business development by identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's market presence through active networking.
• Oversee engagement profitability, quality control, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor and coach a multidisciplinary team, including Managers, Seniors, and Associates, to foster professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, value-added solutions to clients.

• Proven experience in audit and assurance, specifically with private and non-profit sectors.
