Senior Learning Experience Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Learning Experience Designer to shape how employees learn and grow within a fast‑scaling global organization. Based in Canada, you will translate complex business needs into engaging, measurable digital learning experiences that support legal, risk, compliance, and HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead learning needs analyses and performance consulting sessions with business stakeholders.
• Design end‑to‑end learning strategies, define objectives, success metrics, and learning journeys aligned with business outcomes.
• Create high‑quality instructional materials such as storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, and learner workbooks.
• Develop interactive eLearning modules using Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) with SCORM/xAPI compliance.
• Collaborate with SMEs and HR partners to gather content, validate accuracy, and maintain alignment throughout development cycles.
• Publish content, configure the LMS, and ensure smooth deployment and tracking.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using frameworks like Kirkpatrick and translate results into actionable improvements.
• Produce supporting multimedia assets (graphics, animations, short‑form videos) to enhance learning impact.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, combining instructional design and eLearning development.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy).
• Proven ability to translate complex subject matter into clear, engaging learner‑friendly content.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
• Experience creating SCORM/xAPI‑compliant eLearning content.
• Hands‑on experience with enterprise Learning Management Systems (LMS).
