Senior FANUC Robot Programmer – Welding Automation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Robot Programmer with deep FANUC expertise to lead the development, commissioning, and support of complex robotic welding and material‑handling systems for a custom automation organization.

Key responsibilities

• Program and commission FANUC robotic systems, including developing robot paths, offline programs, and I/O configurations.
• Configure weld interfaces, PLC communications, and network architecture for automation devices.
• Troubleshoot complex robotic and automation issues on‑site at customer facilities across North America.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to support installation and startup.
• Mentor junior robot programmers and help establish programming standards and templates.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on robot programming experience, primarily with FANUC.
• Strong background in custom automation, robotic welding, and material‑handling applications.
• Proven ability to commission robotic cells and solve complex troubleshooting problems.
• Valid driver’s license, passport, and willingness to travel across North America.
