Senior Electrical Satellite Systems Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Electrical Satellite Systems Engineer you will lead the definition, integration, verification and operational readiness of the satellite electrical architecture for LEO constellations. You will act as the technical authority across payload and bus domains, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with operators, customers and launch partners.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain system requirements, performance budgets and interface control documents for power, data and reliability.
• Perform technical analyses such as power budgeting, failure mode and reliability assessments.
• Develop and oversee test plans and procedures for qualification, LEOP and in‑orbit verification.
• Lead subsystem integration, coordinate with vendors and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Participate in major design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, PSR, LRR) and provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Systems, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in satellite systems design for LEO constellations, covering full lifecycle from concept to launch.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MATLAB and other modeling/simulation tools.
• Experience using flight engineering software and Agile development methods.
