Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS, Azure, GCP)

About the role

Zonda is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate a multi‑cloud platform that powers its core real‑estate analytics and services. This remote position offers the chance to work across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud while collaborating with software engineers and IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement production‑grade infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and GCP with a focus on automation, repeatability, and least‑privilege security.
• Lead the design of landing zones, account/subscription structures, network topologies (Transit Gateway, vWAN, Shared VPC) and identity federation across all clouds.
• Maintain Infrastructure as Code at scale using Terraform or OpenTofu, including reusable modules, automated testing, and policy‑as‑code guardrails (OPA, Sentinel, Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, GCP Org Policy).
• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes platforms (EKS, AKS, GKE) with service mesh, ingress, autoscaling, multi‑tenancy and observability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, secret handling and deployment patterns such as blue/green and canary.
• Implement comprehensive observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor and Cloud Operations Suite.
• Drive cloud cost optimisation through rightsizing, commitment planning, tagging strategy and FinOps practices.
• Act as the security lead, defining and enforcing cloud security best practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level cloud engineer with hands‑on experience across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Strong architectural and design skills, capable of leading complex migrations and influencing standards.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams.
