Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead the full lifecycle of complex public‑sector projects. Reporting to the Director of the PMO, you will act as a strategic partner to business units, support project managers, and help establish robust business analysis practices.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business units to understand strategic objectives and align solutions with organizational goals.
• Lead the development of business cases, including problem identification, cost‑benefit analysis, and value realization.
• Facilitate documentation and analysis of business processes, identifying improvement opportunities.
• Conduct detailed requirements‑gathering sessions with internal and external partners through workshops and interviews.
• Support implementation readiness and transition to operations.
• Strengthen and embed business analysis practices across the organization.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing the full lifecycle of complex projects in the public sector.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model and reside within commuting distance of the Vancouver office.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
