About the role

lululemon’s B2B Retail Engineering team is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex, multi‑module application solutions that support global business partners. You will shape technical direction, enforce standards, and ensure high‑performance, scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of end‑to‑end application solutions across multiple business processes and system modules.
• Write exemplary configuration and platform‑specific code that serves as a technical reference for teams.
• Define and enforce configuration standards, development patterns, and engineering best practices across the domain.
• Conduct high‑impact solution reviews focusing on quality, performance, and long‑term maintainability.
• Mentor engineers at various levels, providing guidance on advanced platform concepts and career development.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and business stakeholders to shape application strategy and roadmap.
• Lead incident response for critical system issues, coordinate post‑mortem analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide on‑call support as needed to meet business continuity requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering complex enterprise applications.
• Strong ability to set technical direction, establish standards, and influence cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a track record of mentoring junior engineers.
