Secondary Math & Science Teacher (Cycle 1) – Replacement Contract

About the role

We are seeking a qualified secondary teacher to deliver Math and Science instruction for Cycle 1 students on a replacement basis. The position runs from August 25, 2026 to June 29, 2027, with a full‑time workload (100%).

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess curriculum-aligned lessons in Mathematics and Science for Cycle 1.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the school principal and fellow teachers on academic initiatives.
• Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher conferences, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Valid Quebec teaching authorization (certificate, permit, or provisional) or be in the process of obtaining one.
• Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master of Teaching program at a Quebec university (proof required), OR a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with relevant experience.
• For foreign degrees, a comparative evaluation issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration.
