Seasonal Visitor Services Representative (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Visitor Services Representative (VSR) works in multiple customer‑service outlets across Assiniboine Park, including the Zoo, Pavilion, and The Leaf. Reporting to the Manager, Visitor & Retail Services, the VSR delivers warm, friendly service while promoting and selling Park Hospitality offerings both in person and by phone.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately process all POS transactions, including membership sales, group bookings, and admissions.
• Provide information on marketing promotions, coupons, and special events.
• Handle visitor inquiries, complaints, and direct them to appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Answer phones and emails professionally, rent and maintain strollers and electric scooters, and monitor kiosk functionality and ticket stock.
• Assist self‑guided groups from payment through arrival and departure, and support volunteer corps.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or current high‑school enrollment.
• Class 5 driver’s licence considered an asset.
• Ability to work in a team environment while meeting personal goals.

Required skills

• POS system operation for sales and membership processing.
• Membership registration system usage.
• Ticket kiosk monitoring and stock management.
