About the role
Lakeshore Tree Farms Ltd. is seeking a seasonal, full‑time Nursery Worker to join its rural Saskatoon operation. You will work outdoors caring for a variety of coniferous, deciduous, native, and ornamental plants while supporting tree‑growing activities throughout the season.
Key responsibilities
- Bud, prune, and graft trees, shrubs, and plants.
- Clean greenhouse and work areas, including weeding and debris removal.
- Mix and apply fertilizers, insecticides, and fungicides.
- Guide shoots, tie and secure plants, and transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings.
- Prepare soils, pot and re‑pot plants, and dig up root balls for transport.
- Water, monitor, and report signs of insect or disease damage.
Required profile
- No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Experience in horticulture or related field is an asset.
