School Nurse – Full/Part Time (RPN)

About the role

SE Health, in partnership with CHEO, is seeking compassionate Registered Practical Nurses to join our School Nurse team. You will provide essential health care to children in school settings, working regular school hours with no evenings, nights, weekends or on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate care based on best evidence and each child’s unique needs.
• Serve as primary provider for assigned caseload, coordinating with multidisciplinary team members.
• Facilitate care transitions by linking families with community support services.
• Maintain low caseloads (typically one child) to ensure focused, high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) specialty certification is an asset.
• Strong enthusiasm for community‑based care and evidence‑informed practice.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt to school‑hour schedules.
