SAP TMS Consultant – Remote

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) consultant to join our team remotely. You will be responsible for configuring and optimizing SAP TM solutions to meet complex logistics and supply‑chain requirements for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Configure order‑based (OTR) and delivery‑based (DTR) transportation requirements.
• Set up freight units, freight orders and manage routing, scheduling and capacity utilization.
• Define calculation profiles, rate tables and freight agreements for charge and settlement.
• Integrate SAP TM with SAP SD, MM, EWM and third‑party WMS (e.g., BlueYonder).
• Support data migration, master‑data maintenance and testing (unit, integration, UAT).
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Required profile

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP TM, including OTR/DTR, freight order creation and settlement.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ABAP debugging and configuration.
• Understanding of SAP S/4HANA TM deployment models (Basic vs. Advanced) and RISE implementations.
• Proven ability to work with master‑data integration tools such as BTP, GTT or DRF.
• Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering and test coordination.
