SAP System Developer

About the role

Manitoba Hydro is seeking an SAP System Developer to deliver intermediate‑complexity technical solutions across its SAP landscape, including ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform. You will work under the direction of a Section Lead or senior System Developer, contributing to requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with business partners, analysts, and senior developers to analyze requirements and design technical solutions.
• Code, test, debug, install, and document ABAP, CDS views, SAP Fiori, and RAP objects.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective changes.
• Optimize performance and ensure stable, secure operation of SAP systems.
• Collaborate with functional analysts and platform specialists to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement of SAP architecture.

Required profile

• Ability to work with moderate independence and mentor junior team members.
• Experience delivering solutions on SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and development governance.
