About the role
We are looking for a Salon Manager to lead the daily operations of our hairstyling salon in Calgary. The manager will oversee staff, control budgets, and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily salon operations.
- Evaluate and plan daily activities.
- Establish and implement staff policies and procedures.
- Plan and control budget and inventory.
- Manage contracts for advertising and marketing strategies.
- Hire, train and supervise salon staff.
- Address customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain salon standards and monitor staff performance.
Required profile
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a barbershop or hairstyling salon.
- Strong client focus and reliability.
- Efficient interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
