About the role
Join the busiest Hot Topic store in Calgary’s Chinook Centre as a Sales Associate. You’ll be the front‑line ambassador for music and pop‑culture fans, delivering an engaging shopping experience and helping customers find the merch they love.
Key responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, using product knowledge to drive sales and encourage repeat visits.
- Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add‑on sales such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
- Maintain visual standards by stocking, replenishing, and merchandising products according to planograms.
- Communicate fashion and music trends to management and corporate partners.
- Keep the stockroom organized and the sales floor tidy, handling merchandise up to 50 lb.
Required profile
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
- Passion for music, pop culture, and the Hot Topic brand.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and sales ability.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teammates and store management.
