Sales Assistant – Retail & Online

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to support our retail and online store in Lindsay. The role involves handling customer transactions, providing product advice, and maintaining inventory records in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card and automatic debit payments.
• Operate the cash register and process sales transactions.
• Use computerized inventory and re‑ordering systems to track stock.
• Provide advice and recommendations on cosmetics, toiletries, and health products.
• Promote products through in‑store displays and online channels.
• Perform data entry and maintain sales records for inventory control.
• Assist in merchandising and product display setup.
• Ensure food safety and proper handling of consumable items.
