Roof Shinglers Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a Roof Shinglers Supervisor to lead our shingle installation teams on commercial and residential projects in Calgary. The role involves coordinating daily activities, ensuring safety at heights, and delivering high‑quality roofing work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shingle installation activities across multiple sites.
• Oversee apprenticeship training and mentor junior shinglers.
• Recruit, hire, and manage shingle crews, handling related staffing actions.
• Arrange and deliver training programs as needed.
• Recommend personnel actions and manage performance.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards while working outdoors at heights.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or shingle installation.
• Ability to work under pressure, early mornings, weekends, and overtime.
• Willingness to travel between job sites.
• Organized, reliable, and a strong team player.
