Retail Team Member

About the role

Canada Computers & Electronics is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our Ottawa downtown store as Team Members. In this full‑time retail position you will help customers find the right technology solutions while maintaining store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers by locating products and providing product knowledge.
• Receive and unload shipments, stock shelves, and ensure merchandise is displayed to company standards.
• Process retail sales transactions and manage the cash area.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the store.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of retail sales and/or cash‑handling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving, attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and numeracy.
• Knowledge of computer parts, accessories and consumer electronics.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes of merchandise.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
