About the role
Join a busy supermarket in Winnipeg as a Retail Store Supervisor, where you will lead a team of sales associates and ensure smooth daily operations. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to develop leadership skills in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties and create work schedules.
- Hire, train, or arrange training for new staff members.
- Order merchandise and authorize returns.
- Maintain inventory levels and organize stock.
- Manage cash handling and conduct performance reviews.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail supervisory or similar role.
