Retail Store Manager – Owen Sound

About the role
EB Games Canada is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead its Owen Sound location. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring an excellent customer experience in a fast‑paced electronics and toy retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage staff, assign duties and supervise performance.
- Determine merchandise mix and services to be offered.
- Assess staffing needs and schedule employees for day, evening and weekend shifts.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints and supply shortages promptly.
- Recruit, hire and train new team members.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily store operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 3 to 5 years of retail management experience.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and stand for extended periods.
- Client‑focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility, good judgement and strong organizational abilities.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
