About the role
The Retail Store Manager will lead daily operations at our Calgary location, ensuring smooth service delivery and meeting sales targets. This full‑time, permanent position involves overseeing staff, merchandise, and the overall customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily store operations, planning and organizing activities.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold and develop marketing strategies.
- Assess staffing needs, recruit, hire, and supervise a team of 5‑10 employees.
- Handle customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders and ensure product availability.
- Analyze sales data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards.
