Retail Store Manager

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Cache Creek location. The role involves overseeing staff, managing merchandise, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment. You will be responsible for planning and organizing daily activities, evaluating performance, and driving positive environmental outcomes as part of our green initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control, evaluate, plan and organize the store’s daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and meet performance targets.
• Manage a team of 3‑4 employees, assign duties, determine staffing needs, and oversee scheduling.
• Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Resolve issues such as customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly and professionally.
• Recruit, hire, supervise staff and volunteers, and conduct regular performance reviews.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma) is required.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in retail management, overseeing store operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, with flexibility, strong organization skills, and a collaborative team‑player attitude.
