About the role
GS Granite Limited is seeking a motivated Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at its Edmonton location. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and control daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily activities to meet sales targets.
- Manage staff scheduling, assign duties, and supervise performance.
- Analyze market research and trends to forecast demand and adjust merchandising.
- Prepare budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and control costs.
- Determine staffing needs and handle recruitment, hiring, and training.
- Resolve customer issues, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to less than 2 years of retail or wholesale experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work morning and day shifts.
