Retail Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at our granite outlet in Winnipeg. The role involves overseeing staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with company policies.
• Evaluate performance metrics and operational efficiency to identify improvement opportunities.
• Plan and organize daily activities, including merchandising, inventory checks, and staff scheduling.
• Manage staff, assign duties, and provide coaching to maintain high service standards.
• Study market research and trends to forecast consumer demand and adjust product offerings.
• Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and report financial results to senior management.
• Determine staffing requirements and coordinate recruitment, hiring, and training processes.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly to maintain satisfaction.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a retail or wholesale environment.
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work morning and day shifts as required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team and handle operational challenges.
