Retail Lending AI Engineer Internship (Winter 2027)

About the role

Join EQ Bank’s Retail Lending Technology team as an AI Engineer Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will help design, develop, test, and support RESTful APIs, ETL integrations, Power Platform solutions, and emerging AI‑enabled capabilities that modernize lending services.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of RESTful APIs, ETL integrations, Power Platform solutions, and AI‑enabled workflows.
• Assist with requirements analysis and contribute to functional and non‑functional technical solutions.
• Develop microservices, LLM integrations, intelligent agents, and workflow automations.
• Participate in Agile SCRUM activities and support sprint delivery.
• Perform unit testing, support QA triage, documentation, code reviews, and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Academic, internship, or co‑op experience in software development or technology delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
