Retail Counter Clerk – Postal Services

About the role
Canada Post is seeking an enthusiastic Retail Counter Clerk to work in its Swan River outlet. You will provide friendly, efficient service to customers while handling postal products and financial transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Perform sales and customer‑service activities to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Operate a computerized point‑of‑sale (POS) system and process cash, cheque, debit and credit payments.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of postal products, services and delivery options.
- Receive, sort and sequence mail items, including handling packages up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
- Maintain floor displays, conduct merchandising and inventory control.
Required profile
- Experience in customer service within a retail environment.
- Sales experience is an asset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a POS system.
