About the role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Retail Counter Clerk who will work in a retail outlet and provide excellent service to all our customers.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a variety of sales and customer‑service activities to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Operate a computerized point‑of‑sale (POS) system and process financial transactions (cash, cheques, debit and credit card payments).
- Receive, sort and sequence mail items, handling packages up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
- Maintain floor displays, conduct merchandising and inventory control.
Required profile
- Experience in customer service in a retail environment.
- Sales experience is an asset.
Required skills
- Operate a computerized point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Process cash, cheque, debit and credit card payments.
