Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our Smithers location, ensuring smooth daily operations, profitability and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze budget and monitor revenues to optimise profit.
• Plan, organise and supervise daily restaurant operations, including staffing and scheduling.
• Recruit, train and evaluate a team of over 20 employees.
• Ensure compliance with provincial liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.
• Manage inventory, negotiate with suppliers and control costs.
• Handle customer complaints, oversee events and contribute to marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3‑5 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent oral communication and client‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
