Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Winnipeg location. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring excellent customer service, and overseeing a motivated team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze budgets, monitor revenues and labour costs to boost profitability.
• Plan, organize and supervise daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling and training.
• Recruit, set work schedules and evaluate staff performance, conducting regular reviews.
• Handle cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports and related financial forms.
• Enforce health, safety and provincial liquor legislation compliance.
• Maintain inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Negotiate catering contracts and facility usage with clients.
• Address customer complaints, provide high‑level service and manage events.
• Participate in marketing plans and their implementation.
• Lead and instruct team members, ensuring cost control of products and services.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
