About the role

We are looking for an energetic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our vegetarian bakery in Winnipeg. You will ensure smooth service, maintain high quality standards, and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor revenues and labour costs to optimise profitability.
  • Oversee staff performance, provide coaching and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Plan, organise and execute daily operational activities, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Recruit, schedule, supervise and train team members to maintain service excellence.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures for the range of services offered.
  • Control product and service costing while managing inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and food‑handling regulations.
  • Handle customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate special events and promotions to increase foot traffic.

Required profile

  • Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant or food‑service management.
