Restaurant Manager

About the role

Gogi Korean BBQ Sunridge is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in its Calgary location. You will oversee budgeting, staff management, and customer service to ensure a high‑quality dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, and supplies.
• Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing according to budget constraints.
• Track revenues and labour costs, and balance cash reports and sheets.
• Recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate a team of 5‑10 staff members.
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory, handle cash, and complete related financial forms.
• Address customer complaints, provide service, and manage events.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines.
• Availability for morning, day, evening, shift, and weekend schedules.
