Restaurant Manager

About the role

Subway Sandwiches and Salads is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Winnipeg location. You will be responsible for delivering a high‑quality customer experience while ensuring efficient, profitable store performance.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimise daily operations, monitoring revenue and labour costs.
• Plan, organise and supervise staff schedules, recruitment and training.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, balance sheets and financial reports.
• Conduct performance reviews and address employee development.
• Manage inventory, negotiate with suppliers and ensure health‑safety compliance.
• Resolve customer complaints and uphold brand standards.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience.
• 1‑2 years of experience in a fast‑paced food‑service environment.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and team‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.
