Restaurant Manager – Full‑Time

About the role

The Zakkushi Group is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at its Vancouver location. This full‑time, permanent role involves overseeing staff, ensuring service quality, and maintaining financial controls.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and organize daily restaurant operations.
• Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage shift schedules.
• Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and prepare cash reports.
• Maintain inventory levels and negotiate with suppliers for food and other supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and address customer complaints.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes as needed.

Required profile

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• 3 to less than 5 years of experience in restaurant or food‑service management.
• Availability for shift or on‑call work, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and days.
• Ability to start on the date listed in the posting.
