Restaurant Manager – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Spicy 6 Fine Indian Cuisine in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial performance, staff management, and compliance with provincial liquor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the restaurant’s budget and implement strategies to boost and maintain profitability.
• Develop detailed budgets covering food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing in line with budget constraints.
• Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure cost‑effective operations.
• Recruit, train, and schedule staff to meet service standards.
• Balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports and related financial forms.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and related regulations.

Required profile

• College diploma, CEGEP or comparable non‑university certificate (3 months to <1 year) or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience managing a restaurant or similar hospitality operation.
