Restaurant Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations at our Arby's location in Cranbrook, BC. The role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, ensuring health and safety compliance, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate daily operations.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Monitor staff performance.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit staff and set work schedules.
• Supervise and train staff.
• Determine service types and implement operational procedures.
• Conduct performance reviews.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Address customer complaints or concerns.
• Provide customer service.
• Lead and instruct individuals.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Supervision of 5‑10 staff members.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure.
• Team‑player attitude.
• Safe Food Handling certificate.
• Availability for evening, morning, day and weekend shifts.
