Resource Coordinator

About the role

The Resource Coordinator supports the daily flow of aircraft and passenger services at Toronto Pearson Airport. Reporting to the Manager, Resource Management Unit and the day‑of Manager Operations, the role ensures optimal use of stands, hard‑stand bussing, remote parking, cargo areas and check‑in counters while maintaining accurate flight information displays.

Key responsibilities

• Revise and update stand and counter allocation plans to accommodate schedule changes and operational delays.
• Monitor the Airport‑Collaborative Decision Making (A‑CDM) platform for real‑time updates and acknowledge carrier schedule changes.
• Validate that allocations comply with aircraft adjacency rules and that Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) show correct flight details.
• Approve night‑flight requests and manage General/Business Aviation slot reservations via the Online Coordination System (OCS).
• Communicate facility allocation decisions to tenants, operational agencies and internal GTAA departments.
• Activate terminal‑wide messaging and assist in emergency response when directed.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of airport operations and resource allocation processes.
• Ability to make sound operational decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience using the Airport‑Collaborative Decision Making (A‑CDM) platform.
• Proficiency with Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS).
• Familiarity with the Online Coordination System (OCS) for slot reservations.
