Researcher – Video Generation & 3D Computer Vision

About the role
Huawei Canada’s Noah’s Ark Lab is seeking a researcher to advance video generation and 3D computer vision technologies. The role involves creating cutting‑edge AI algorithms and translating them into prototypes that can be integrated into Huawei products.
Key responsibilities
- Invent state‑of‑the‑art AI and computer‑vision algorithms and publish them at top conferences.
- Design and implement AI/CV solutions for real‑world problems and deploy them in Huawei products.
- Supervise intern students on R&D projects.
Required profile
- PhD or master’s degree in computer science or a related field with a focus on computer vision and machine learning.
- Publications at leading conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI or IJCAI.
- Hands‑on experience in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch and rapid prototyping of research ideas.
- Industry research lab or technology company experience is an asset.
- Experience with large‑scale video generation, video world models or 3D generation models is a plus.
